7 Day Weekend
Can we make the weekend seven days long, please? There just aren't enough hours in the day anymore. Here's what you need to know: It's holiday flow at the Gap so I need to be in at the crack of dawn every day this week to put out all the new shipment, I have two papers and an exam this week plus all the usual reading for my classes...
Let me break it down for you; my week so far looks like this:
Sunday:
5:30am: Wake up and get ready
6:15am: Drive to work
7:00am: Gap
10:30am: Scurry home
11:10am: Begin homework
2:45pm: Throw frozen pie in the oven
4:30pm: Take pie out of the oven
6:30pm: Remember I haven't eaten all day and cram something down my throat
11:00pm: Bedtime

5:50pm: Noisily print out all my research in the library while all the other kids stare at me
6:30pm: Work on my paper due Tuesday 2pm
11:00pm: Bedtime
Tuesday:
3:45am: Wake up and get ready
4:15am: Drive to work
5:00am: Gap
10:00am: Scurry home
10:45am: Start madly typing the paper
1:59pm: Hit SEND on the email to my professor with my paper attached
2:05pm: Settle on the couch with a cup of tea, a slice of pie and my remote to catch up on The Blacklist, Bones, Revenge, Once Upon A Time and Castle
8:00pm: Bedtime
Tomorrow/Wednesday:

Sunday:
5:45am: Wake up and get ready
6:15am: Drive to work
7:00am: Mandatory Store Meeting (I actually love our biannual meeting because it's like a fun family get-together, but with donuts)
11:00am: Scamper home
12:00pm: Head to the mall to watch my sister model and potentially get a headstart on some Christmas shopping
So the jist of that whole thing is that I'm exhausted, I'm running on no sleep, Coca Cola and coffee, and I'm a little cranky. Holiday flow is never easy, but I actually enjoy it. If all my ducks line up, this may be my last holiday flow! It's been a stressful week and it's not even half over yet...
