Spring Break

There's nothing like a little spring cleaning to kick off spring break.  My friend Taylor just moved into a new apartment and she's binge-cleaning like nobody's business.  I decided to spend my week off from school working and catching up on all those little things I've been putting off for like, forever.

I went through the giant stack of papers and magazines that have been piling up on the floor next to my bed.   I recycled/shredded papers.  I went through all the old magazines to pick out the articles I wanted to save for my "Inspiration" corkboard.

I'm trying to decide what school things to keep and what to trash.  Old notebooks and papers - I got rid of all things from my general education classes.  I just have to decide if I should keep some of it in case graduate school does end up being in my future.

My biggest problem are my bookshelves.  I'm pretty much maxed out on space and most of my books I am completely unwilling to part with.  I managed to come up with two bags of books to donate to my local library.  Some I want to save for my children so I boxed them up and put them in the back of my closet.

I always get distracted when I'm cleaning - books I like to reread, old papers I reminisce over and and things I can't decide whether or not to save.  It always takes me infinitely longer than I know it should but at least I got one thing on my list done.  CHECK!!!
