Slacker

OKAY, I've been seriously slacking on the blogging front.  Partly because not much has been going on for me to share and partly because I have had ZERO time to myself.  Basically school and work have been giving me the run-around; throw in family events and Easter and I've pretty much got my hands full.  By the way, have I mentioned that I'm GRADUATING in TWENTY DAYS??!
It's so crazy to me that the time has flown by so quickly.  I just bought my cap and gown on Friday, that's how surreal it is to me!  Four years have passed and it seems like only yesterday I was attending freshman orientation.

Next Sunday I have my best friend Ellie's bridal shower.  I cannot believe it's already upon us!  Let's just say there will be lots of pink and glitter - which suits her to a tee.  It feels as though we began planning this shindig months ago and it was a million years away.  Seven days to go and so much to do!

I spent the evening at my good friend, Gina's house.  She works with Ellie and I at the Gap; she's a goofy and loud.  She's a dance teacher like me and is a Gleek!  She's got a good heart and truly cares about people; she's quickly become a very close friend of mine ever since we began planning Ellie's shower and bachelorette party together.  She and her husband live alone, no pets or kids (yet - they only got married last July).  Tyler is a super funny dude and we have a lot in common.  I love these folks already.
Last night consisted of an entire 1.5L bottle of Moscato and attempting to dunk marshmallows in white chocolate, then sprinkles.  Cooking while drunk is slightly dangerous, we quickly learned.  No injury or harm occurred during the making of those delicious treats, but best to be careful.  Tyler totally should have stopped us but he knows better. ;)

Anywhoodle, I have a crazy number of essays that I am trying to complete.  I'm feeling very unmotivated but that little glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel is keeping me chugging along.  Off to drown myself in textbooks and papers.

See you on the other side!
