This Week I Learned:
- that I LOVE the BBC television series, Sherlock. Filming of season three doesn't start until March; I don't know how I am going to survive until it premieres!
- feelings that resurface are feelings that never truly went away.
- that The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling starts off incredibly slow. I'm twenty-five(ish) pages in and nothing has happened, about ten new characters have been introduced and I am tempted to give up on it (which is saying something because I am a very devoted Rowling fan).
- that much to my immense disappointment, peppermint mocha flavoring at Dunkin Donuts has a ridiculously short season.
- that Chanel No.5 is incredibly pungent and can almost cause me to pass out.
- that ten thousand people are killed every year by drunk drivers. I learned this when there was a drunk driving accident in my town last week, injuring three passengers and one even ending up in a coma. Drunk driving is a choice. A stupid choice, yes, but a choice nonetheless.
- that I am a hardcore Directioner. No shame.
- I have been right to be afraid of entering a Hollister store all these years.
- that Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad is on my "Top Ten Worst Books Ever Written and Should Never Be Read" list. I already knew that though, I learned that the hard way during my junior year of high school. This week I learned that I will be forced to suffer through it once again this semester in my Modern British Fiction class. I am not a happy camper.
- that broccoli cheddar soup from Panera is always better in a bread bowl than in a regular one.
